June
1-3 Carlisle Bay water Festival (Barbados)
Seven water-sporting associations converge on the beach in front of the boat yard in historic Carlisle Bay to highlight their sport.
1-4 Eleuthera Pineapple Festival (Bahamas)
A four day celebration of the succulent Eleuthera pineapple. Featuring a Junkanoo parade, craft fair, dancing and a pineapple recipe contest.
9-17 Ocho Rios Jazz Festival (Jamaica)
This festival has developed a reputation as the definitive showcase for “the greatest names in Jamaican jazz”, offering a unique blend of musicians, painters and artists.
9-16 5th Annual Bonaire Dive Festival
The dive industry’s environmental and photography greats will come together for parties, seminars, environmental awareness projects and, of course, diving. Geared towards raising people’s awareness of the importance of the world’s coral reefs.
10-11 Whitsuntide Games (Grenada)
Some of the best athletes in the Caribbean participate in two days of track and field competition.

30 to July 7 Dive Fest (Dominica)
This event includes underwater treasure hunts, scuba and snorkelling, Carib canoe races, swimming races, sunset cruises and evening parties.
TBA Aviation Week (Cayman Islands)
For this event, the skies over Grand Cayman buzz with approximately 1,000 small planes. The event is filled with fun and information on “all things flying”.
TBA Portland Jerk Festival (Jamaica)
You are invited to the home of jerk to partake in the delectable taste of lobster, fish, chicken and pork. Will include music, arts & crafts, bounce about, merry-go-round, face painting and caricatures.
TBA Summer in the City (Jamaica)
Kingston celebrates the season with parties featuring hip-hop, reggae and dancehall music as well as a fashion show.

14 to Aug 6 Crop Over (Barbados)
One of the biggest parties of the year in the Caribbean, Crop Over is a celebration of the end of the sugar harvest. Festivities include community fairs, concerts, cart parades and other cultural activities.
16-17 St. Lucia Carnival
This is the country’s most extravagant celebration: parades, calypso, a King and Queen, colourful costumes and other activities.
31 Emancipation Jubilee (Jamaica)
This is a celebration of African ancestors and their contributions to Emancipation. Every year has a theme, which determines the tone of the festivities.
TBA Reggae Sumfest (Jamaica)
Annual music festival held in Montego Bay for the 7th year. The five-day event features top local and international reggae artists.
TBA Jamaica Spice Food Festival
A celebration of the best of Jamaica’s cuisine through the ages. Experience traditional and contemporary Jamaican food amidst cooking demonstrations, a cook-off competition and entertainment.

Over 40 restaurants participate in an all-you-can-sample Food Festival.
TBA Goombay Festival (Bahamas)

This event will showcase Caribbean design for sale to the world. There will be 3-4 shows daily for 4 days and each show will feature a different Caribbean designer.
16-25 Challenger Hot Air Balloon Festival (Jamaica)
A festive parade of hot air balloons in Westmoreland. This event attracts hot air balloonists from all over the world.
17-20 Showcase 2000 (Grenada)
A trade show showcasing arts, crafts and food items from islands in the region.
TBA Jamaica Independence Day Parade
Gala parade of the symbols of Jamaica’s sovereignty. The climax of the event is a street dance in Half Way Tree, where thousands are expected to attend.

28 St. Lucia Bill Fish Tournament
Fishermen from all over the Caribbean gather in St. Lucia to see who can hook the biggest fish and land the largest catch.
